Important Notes:

  • AP coordinators should arrange late-testing exams for students with scheduling conflicts.
  • Schools must begin morning exams between 8 and 9 a.m. local time, and afternoon exams between 12 and 1 p.m. local time.
  • Alaska Update: Schools in Alaska must now start exams between 8 and 9 a.m. local time and 12 and 1 p.m. local time for afternoon exams. Alaska will no longer begin exams one hour earlier than other states.
  • AP Seminar exams are only for students at schools offering AP Seminar or participating in the AP Capstone Diploma Program.
  • AP African American Studies exams can only be ordered and administered by U.S. schools.

Deadlines:

  • April 30, 2025 (11:59 p.m. ET):
    • AP Seminar and AP Research students must submit their performance tasks and presentations as final.
    • AP Computer Science Principles students must submit their Create performance task as final.

Late Testing: If students need to test late due to extenuating circumstances, alternate versions of the exams will be used, and they must be taken on the scheduled late-testing dates at the designated times.
